GICAM has announced its latest product release today. The new weighing platform PIA W is suitable for a wide range of industrial and private applications. It can be integrated into industrial automation systems for container filling, batch weighing, end of line weighing or piece counting. The system is complete with structure, platform, load cell and indicator. On request, the PIA W is available also with OIML certification. Nominal forces range from 30 kg to 1000 kg with weighing plate dimensions of 300x300, 400x400, 600x600 and 800x800 mm. GICAM today announced a new tool that further completes the range of portable indicators with independent power supply for displaying load cells with independent channels. The SLIM4C consists of 4 instruments that are able to display as many dedicated channels.
The 4 instruments are mounted in a practical case to be taken directly to the places where it is necessary to detect the reading of the load cells. It also has an independent power supply via rechargeable batteries and is complete with a battery charger.
A maximum of 2 350 Ohm load cells (or 4 700 Ohm cells) can be connected in parallel to each input channel.

After a long preparation, in addition to the ATEX certification, GICAM has also achieved IECEx certification for its load cells.
The series that can be supplied with ATEX and / or IECEx certification are:
TS / ME / COL / TOR / OT1 / DT / PE / CN / PA / TA / GD / AF (also in the respective high temperature versions).

GICAM presents a new series of load cells for the tension force measurement and industrial weighing. The new series is equipped with the innovative IO-LINK connection, which can be integrated into the load cell. This new solution with IO-Link output allows the load cells to connect to any PLC and though this, our load cells reach the same level present in the most important brands of load cells available on the international market with the same field bus system.
